Working Hours: 8:00 am- 4:30 pm
Salary: GS-13 $120,579.00-$156,755.00
GS-14 $142,488.00 -$185,234.00
Full Performance Level: GS-14

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE (SE):

GS-13: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. SE is defined as follows:

  • Experience in reviewing and analyzing proposed legislation to assess implications for agency policies and operations.
  • Experience in gathering and synthesizing information from Congressional sources to inform internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in preparing briefing materials, reports, and talking points for use in legislative meetings or strategy development.
  • Experience in advising leadership on Congressional activity, including committee hearings, markups, and policy trends.

GS-14: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level. SE is defined as follows:

  • Experience in developing legislative strategies to inform and promote agency goals to Members of Congress and their staff.
  • Experience advising senior executives on pending legislation and Congressional matters, including preparing them for hearings, briefings, and high-level meeting
