Reporting to the Senior Manager, Team Operational Capacity Development, the incumbent’s primary responsibility will be to support operational capacity development. They will play a leading advisory role as a specialist in operational processes and procedures, particularly in regards to their development and implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement projects related to team operational capacity planning and development.
  • Develop, write, and update the documentation and tools needed to carry out projects.
  • Develop and oversee partnerships for team operational capacity planning and development.
  • Advise and support management in developing documents or assessments to achieve the department’s objectives for team operational capacity planning and development.
  • Develop the activities and tools needed for team operational capacity planning and development in collaboration with relevant CRC departments.
  • Represent the Quebec team with internal and external partners.
  • Lead working committees, workshops, and meetings with internal and external partners and the public.
  • Apply, maintain, and implement emergency management standards and procedures.
  • Produce various expert, analytical and statistical reports.
  • Support staff responsible for leading and coaching volunteer teams with regard to team operational capacity planning and development.
  • Mentor and supervise department staff under their responsibility, as needed.
  • Perform on-call duty and participate in provincial and national emergency operations.
