Le conseiller est chargé d’être un expert technique et une ressource pour l’ensemble de l’entreprise et de fournir un soutien en ce qui concerne la conception, la logistique et l’exécution des projets audio.

YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE THIS:

• Act as a leader and expert on all matters related to audio systems.
• Participate in the development of budgets, including the detailing of system standards.
• Coordinate management of efficient delivery of large-scale projects (tours, worldwide, major events, etc.) using a structured
• approach (schedules, budgets, precise expectations, clear communications, close follow-up);
• Produce technical drawings, “One Line”, “Elevation Rack”, power supply requirements, etc. ;
• Ensure that the standards (connectors, boxes, etc.) predetermined by Solotech are respected by the teams in the workshop and on the road;
• Advise management on the acquisition of new equipment within a predefined budget;
• Participate in major improvement or maintenance projects to enhance operational efficiency and safety;
• Maintain a technology watch to contribute to the company’s growth by participating in trade shows and seeking out new products and suppliers;
• Work with the department’s administration and management to prevent and identify extraordinary expenses (special maintenance and purchases vs. subleases);
• Initiate and participate in employee training and assist in the development of departmental training;
• Carry out field visits whenever possible to evaluate and observe the work of crews and the condition of equipment;
• Provide technical support in the field when required;
• Pass on knowledge to shop team and production technicians as required;
• Maintain good knowledge of and relations with Solotech’s technology partners;
• Maintain good relations with managers and technical staff for all types of contracts;
• Participate in any other projects identified by management.

YOUR SKILLS:

• In-depth technical knowledge of professional audio;
• Knowledge of information systems related to audio expertise,
• Knowledge of AV network systems
• Excellent oral and written skills in both official languages;
• Proficiency in VectorWorks, Autocad, Sketchup, etc. ;
• Knowledge of R2 is an asset;
• Proficiency in standard Office suite software;
• Ability to work with deadlines and manage pressure;
• Demonstrate rigor and attention to detail;
• Be diplomatic;
• Highly developed organizational skills;
• Strong relational and interpersonal skills;
• Strong customer relations skills;
• Good team spirit and collaboration;
• Resourcefulness and autonomy.
