EDUCATION

· Valid Occupational First Aid (OFA) - Level 2 OFA Level 3 is required.
· Certification in CSO, NCSO, or CRSP preferred.

EXPERIENCE & TECHNICAL SKILLS:

· Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) programs, policies, and regulatory standards.
· Two years of experience in construction as an apprentice Carpenter or skilled Laborer. Candidate must be willing to complete labour tasks such as repair of guard rails, maintain temporary lighting, organizing the site, maintaining site fencing, and ensuring clear access throughout the site during a regular work day when safety management responsibilities are complete for the day.
· Computer Literacy required. Candidate expected to maintain safety program on Sitemax. Training can be provided for software for the right candidate.

SOFT SKILLS:

· Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
· Maintains a professional attitude and appearance when representing the Company.
· Excellent organizational skills; have the ability to time manage and meet multiple tasks in an organized fashion.
· Self-motivated and results driven.
