HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE…

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Construction Accounting Data Entry Clerk to join our accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering financial and project-related data for construction projects into our accounting system. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, a basic understanding of accounting principles, and prior experience in the construction or related industry. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting department.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately input financial transactions into the accounting software and monitor data entry reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Accurately enter invoices, purchase orders, subcontractor payments, and job cost details.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized records of financial transactions and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with project managers and accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
  • Support other accounting tasks as assigned.
  • Verify the accuracy of data before entry.
  • Maintain detailed records of tasks, files, and progress.
  • Track and maintain documents and receipts for financial operations.
  • Support the accounting staff with ad hoc tasks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with data integrity and security policies.
