POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY THE CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT IS COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING LOUISIANA BRIDGE BUILDERS BY PROVIDING HIGH‑QUALITY ADMINISTRATIVE, DOCUMENTATION, AND COORDINATION SUPPORT TO THE BRIDGE MANAGER AND CONSTRUCTION TEAM. THIS ROLE ENSURES EFFICIENT OFFICE OPERATIONS, ACCURATE PROJECT RECORDKEEPING, AND TIMELY COMMUNICATION ESSENTIAL TO THE SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY OF BRIDGE AND ROADWAY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES. LOCATION  This position is based in Lake Charles, LA. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  1. Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, organizing files, and maintaining project documentation. 2. Serve as a communication liaison between office staff, field personnel, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth information flow. 3. Assist with preparing presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and project binders for internal and external meetings. 4. Perform general office duties including ordering supplies, managing mail, maintaining office equipment, and supporting onboarding of project personnel. 5. Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.  KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, & SKILLS FOR SUCCESS 1. Effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner through written and verbal communications in all interfaces with customers/public, fellow employees, vendors, etc. 2. Ability to use appropriate computer programs (including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite) which includes having proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as programs and processes change. 3. Ability to work as a team member and exert initiative to work independently to reach a goal. 4. Ability to embrace change in the workplace while encouraging others to seek innovative approaches. 5. Ability to function effectively as a team player and collaborator. 6. Ability to work a flexible work schedule, additional and/or different hours, including but not limited to nights, weekends, and/or holidays, as needed, to best serve the business operations.  QUALIFICATIONS  At a minimum, the Construction Administrative Assistant must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of administrative experience. Experience with construction, engineering, or related project‑based environment is preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
