Description
What you'll do: Administrating the construction process; reviewing Submittals and Shop Drawings, responding to RFI’s, preparing drawing revisions, and coordinating with Engineering Consultants. Reviewing construction documents, project construction budgets and evaluate construction progress Processing Applications for Payment Observing construction work in progress to ensure performance with specifications and contract documents Creating Field Reports QC Reviews with coordinated sets of working drawings Analyzing shop drawings of varying complexity, as well as reporting problems and deviations from plans and specifications to the project design team. Maintains Submittal and RFI Logs. Takes a team-oriented approach to the Construction Process. Mentors younger staff and leads group site visits. What you need to bring: Five or more years of experience in CA role for Architectural firm Experience in all project phases Experience in multifamily, mixed-use or student housing construction strongly preferred Have a positive attitude with a sense of humor Excellent time management, written, and verbal communication skills Responsive: Excellent organizational skills and follow-through ability Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role at this time. Therefore applicants will need to be authorized to work in the U.S. and currently reside in the U.S.
