REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of accounting experience with proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE & OVERVIEW:

The Construction Administrator plays a key role in supporting Operations and Finance by managing administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. This position allows the team to focus on core responsibilities, and the administrator will contribute to the efficiency and success of projects with a strong emphasis on organization and attention to detail. The role reports to the Office Manager and works closely with a team of Construction Administrators.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accounting & Finance (50%): Process accounts payable, manage vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and credit card reconciliation.
  • Operations Support (30%): Assist with purchasing materials, managing purchase orders, open and close jobs, Equipment rentals, and collaborating with Project and Service Managers. Support daily operations including shipments and deliveries.
  • General Office Support (20%): Answer calls, manage emails, order supplies, maintain office organization, travel arrangements, and serve as the first point of contact for visitors and inquiries.
