SUMMARY

Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. seeks a dedicated Construction Assistant Superintendent to join our dynamic team. As a fully integrated Engineering and Design-Build firm, we specialize in sustainable architectural and engineering design, BIM coordination, and construction.
In this role, you will support the Superintendent in overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Assistant Superintendent in commercial construction or equivalent as a field engineer, foreman, or senior field supervisor
  • Working field knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and subcontractors.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications in multiple formats
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and project tracking tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with schedules, budgets, and specifications.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, enforcing safety protocols and quality control measures.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and vendors.
  • Oversee construction materials and equipment procurement, delivery, and inventory.
  • Enforce job site safety regulations, ensuring full compliance with all applicable codes and best practices.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks or delays to maintain project efficiency.
