Job Description

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Professional accreditation in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or Quality.
  • Able to achieve BPSS or higher security clearance.
  • Extensive knowledge of commissioning procedures and systems.
  • Experience managing completions during construction through to commissioning.
  • Strong leadership skills in multi-discipline, multi-cultural environments.
  • Proven ability to manage technical queries and non-conformances.

✔️ Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Nuclear sector experience, ideally in a new build environment.
  • Familiarity with process-driven delivery and record close-out.
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to maintain performance under time pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the interface with site construction teams to track installation progress against handover dates.
  • Coordinating site construction activities to prioritise work on critical systems.
  • Liaising with records teams to complete and submit Life Time Quality Records (LTQR) into the document management system.
  • Driving punchlist and commissioning open point closures between construction and commissioning.
  • Managing completion activities to align with commissioning requirements and schedules.
  • Providing clear direction to teams and supporting them in delivering to plan.
  • Addressing technical queries and non-conformances promptly to minimise delays.
  • Representing your team effectively, ensuring needs are understood, and mediating when necessary.
  • Ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and handed over in line with requirements.
  • Supporting other related tasks as assigned by the Completion and Handover Manager.
