Description

Organized. Strong work ethic. Eye for detail. Team player.
Does this sound like you? If so, this position may be for you.
The Armour Group Limited is one of the leading hospitality, development and construction companies in Atlantic Canada. With its dedicated team of professionals, The Armour Group Limited continues a proud history of creating a sense of place in Nova Scotia – carefully designing, developing, constructing and operating some of our region’s most iconic buildings and businesses including Muir Hotel, Delta by Marriott Dartmouth, and Queens Marque District. With more than 50 years of history locally, this family-owned firm remains committed to a principled approach to development, ensuring that our work is environmentally sustainable and integrated into the communities we serve. If you share our values and would like to work with skilled professionals, Armour is presently seeking a Construction Site Superintendent.
This position is ideal for someone who is working in the trades, possibly a foreman, and they want to get off the tools. Or perhaps someone in another province who wants to move back to be closer to family.
Are you organized? Can you handle and do you want more than just the daily grind? We are looking for an individual who can use the experience they’ve gained from their trade but learn about the other 10-15 trades that we work with. You don’t need to be a pro at everything, and we don’t want you to be, but we want someone who is a team player, who wants to learn this role and grow with our company.
The Construction Site Superintendent will monitor and supervise all the construction activities at a job site to ensure all construction practices and legal regulations and standards are followed.

  • Maintain good relationships with site workers, contractors and suppliers
  • Inspect work to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications
