Job Description AECOM is seeking a Construction Contract Administration Manager to be based in our Roanoke, VA office. The Construction Contract Administration Manager will supervise the Roanoke Construction Administration Department consisting of Construction Project Managers, Cost Estimators, and other personnel. The manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: • Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies. • Establishes procedures that affect immediate organization. • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends. • Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. • May have budget responsibilities. Erroneous decision or failure to achieve results adds to costs and may impact short-term goals of organization. • Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction. • Establish department standards and procedures while facilitating training to the local office. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field plus eight (8) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Due to the nature of the role, U.S. Citizenship is required for this position A valid Driver’s License is required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices and as a condition of employment, the selected candidate must pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review Preferred Qualifications: Ten (10) years of applicable experience ideally on projects involving federal clients including military branches Due to the nature of the role, ability to obtain a DOD security clearance as a condition of ongoing employment Ability to interact and communicate effectively with other team members and disciplines, clients and contractors Experienced using Outlook and Microsoft Office Experienced using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software Experienced using Contract Manager or similar construction management software Strong organizational and management skills Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Exceptional knowledge of construction ways, means, methods, and sequences Knowledge of Federal, State, and local regulations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Responsive to changing demands Strong leadership skills Good team-building skills Employs flexibility of method Additional Information Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
