Construction Coordinator I SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Construction Coordinator I with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Sponsorship is not available for this position. This is not a remote position. You must be willing to be onsite 100% of the time with regular rotations home every 3 weeks for 5 days (includes travel days). RESPONSIBILITIES Collect and organize punch lists, inventory, work production plans for easy retrieval and documenting Process invoices and billing under the supervision of project manager and/or project accountant Train in new project admins/clerks Perform basic inventory control under the direction of project management staff Assist with record retention and document controls Perform basic field quality and safety inspections Document conformance to plans and specs Recommend potential solutions Promote Mortenson’s safety culture Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience on a construction job site preferred Strong Microsoft Office and internet skills Ability to learn and utilize different types of computer software used in Construction Management to support any aspect of a construction project Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally Ability to effectively handle detailed information and meet deadlines Ability to multitask Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback Ability to travel up to 100% A few benefits offered include: (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week) Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverage Dental plan 401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson match Paid time off, holidays, and other paid leaves Employer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insurance No-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resources Tuition reimbursement Adoption Assistance Gym Membership Discount Program The base hourly pay range for this role is $27.55 - $37.21. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).
