Weitzman is the most respected provider of retail real estate services in Texas. Our team provides a full range of services including general brokerage, property management, asset management and development services. We operate exclusively in Texas’ major markets: Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Houston and San Antonio.
Weitzman is recruiting for a Construction Coordinator for our Dallas office located in the Uptown area. This position supports the SVP | Director of Construction and a team of Project Managers by handling a variety of administrative responsibilities as well as staff support services at the project level.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and edit various documents including general correspondence, service agreements, AIA contracts, welcome letters, commencement agreements, transmittals, and construction letters
  • Coordinate insurance requirements through approval with tenants, contractors, suppliers, and vendors
  • Receive, review, and distribute new leases
  • Process invoices, payment applications, tenant allowances, and development fees
  • Coordinate rent commencement letters with property managers/asset managers
  • Responsible for coordination of TDLR/TAS paperwork
  • Assist with the management of the Construction close out documentation process.
  • Copy and scan documents
  • Prepare items for out-going mail/delivery and sort/distribute in-coming mail
  • Setup construction files for each project
  • Establish and/or maintain systems related to filing, reporting, database management and billable hours
  • Responsible for maintaining a neat and organized office environment for the department
  • Receptionist relief (rotation with other support staff)
  • Special projects
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience working in construction/architectural environment strongly preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with strong Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Self-starter, proactive, ability to plan, prioritize and organize workload
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to details
  • Dependable with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
