Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
The Construction Administrator position at Richcraft Homes is responsible to facilitate the building process of each home by processing purchase orders for each house/unit that is sold and/or inventoried, releasing work orders, assisting with contracts and other duties as required. This individual will ensure that each home is built as per the builder’s specifications, homebuyer’s requirements, and within the production schedule.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Review all legal documentation including APS (Agreement of Purchase and Sale), change orders, amendments, specifications and drawings to enable the generation and transmittal of all work orders and purchase orders.
- Control and keep up with production schedules from site to ensure that work/purchase orders are transmitted on a timely basis.
- To the best of his/her ability and as per information received, ensure each home is built as per the builder’s specifications and the homebuyer’s requirements in processing of documents and attachments.
- Check and approve requests for changes from the Design Centre.
- Review drawings/documents for late change orders.
- Effectively communicate late changes to all the applicable parties
- Review and update data in the system for updates to base contracts and options
- Reconcile invoices, including review of applicable contracts and change orders.
- Assist with construction contracts as needed.
- Communicate with site personnel/contractors on a regular basis.
- Construction estimating as required.
