    We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Construction Cost Coordinator to support our telecommunications construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring accurate budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting for the deployment and maintenance of telecom infrastructure, including fiber optic networks, cell towers, and related systems.
    The ideal candidate will have experience in construction cost control, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with the telecommunications industry. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and finance teams to help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. This is a full-time, remote opportunity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in construction cost coordination or project controls, preferably in the telecom or utilities sector.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with project management or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Procore) is a plus.
  • Understanding of construction processes, terminology, and documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications infrastructure (fiber, wireless, small cells, etc.).
  • Experience with cost control tools specific to telecom deployment.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and blueprints.
Responsibilities
  • Track and monitor construction project budgets and costs across multiple telecommunications projects.
  • Review contractor/vendor invoices and verify compliance with contracts and scopes of work.
  • Support the development and maintenance of cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Assist with the preparation of project estimates, bids, and change orders.
  • Collaborate with project teams to monitor progress and flag any potential cost overruns.
  • Maintain organized documentation of all cost-related data, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Work with procurement and finance teams to manage purchase orders and payments.
  • Analyze historical cost data to support future budgeting and forecasting.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to project managers and senior leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and audit requirements.
