OVERVIEW

I am looking to hire a carpenter to take the lead mainly with my foundation and framing projects.
Previous experience with running a crew is preferred. I frame mainly custom homes, attention to detail is key. You must work well with others and lead a team in a positive manner.
This is a on the tools job. We work 9hrs a day, Mon-Fri week 1, Mon-Thurs week 2, so you get a three day weekend every two weeks. The bulk of the work for this position will be foundation and framing, but may be required to jump in on other aspects of a build. I have a good crew of guys and am looking to add to that.
As a Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
There is a bonus structure in place for the team for bringing projects in on time and on budget.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in construction tasks.
  • Utilize construction management software to track project progress and manage resources effectively.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents to ensure accurate execution of plans.
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Collaborate with project managers on budgeting and construction estimating to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
  • Train and mentor team members in best practices for construction techniques and safety protocols.

  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and quality control processes.
  • Familiarity with construction estimating and budgeting practices.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
