Position Summary Argus Properties is hiring Drivers to support our growing team in Kelowna, BC. Working under the direction of the Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for the safe operation of all company vehicles driven between multiple job sites as required. The role requires drive and a sense of accountability. Duties and responsibilities: Safely operate gravel truck, water truck, 550, 5-ton tilt flat deck, and other company vehicles as required. Experience operating a Telehandler and Bobcat Load and unload materials in a timely manner Conduct thorough pre-use safety inspections and perform preventative maintenance Clean and maintain equipment (interior cab and exterior) Planning routes and meeting material delivery schedules Local driving only between multiple sites Document and log work and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, etc.) Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents, or violations Adhere to company health and safety program and OHS regulations No smoking in any of the equipment and no garbage left in the equipment Assisting the Civil team with labouring duties and property upkeep Requirements: Maintain valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean drivers abstract Class 3 driver's license is an asset Ticketed Telehandler and Bobcat operator Extensive knowledge of applicable rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) Excellent physical fitness with ability to lift heavy objects Good communication skills
