Howell Electric is currently hiring local Journeyperson Construction Electricians and all levels of apprentices for a multi-family residential wood frame project located in Revelstoke, BC.

This position requires strong leadership & planning skills and the ability to maintain a positive relationship with many general contractors. This position also ensures that tasks are completed in a timely manner, while still following safe working procedures and maintaining an excellent quality of work.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES & SKILLS:

  • Red Seal Electrician or completion of a Level 1 Apprenticeship Program
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or reliable daily transportation to and from site

DESIRABLE CERTIFICATES & SKILLS:

  • SiteReadyBC
  • Fall Protection
  • Aerial Lifts & Work Platforms
  • Occupational First Aid Level 1, 2, or 3
  • Ability to schedule & plan ahead for manpower, material, and equipment
  • Ability to identify & implement necessary cost control measures
  • Familiarity with current Occupational Health and Safety Legislation & company safety policies
  • Ability to safely operate a variety of tools and instruct others on how to safely use hammer drills, wheel benders, hydraulic knockouts, coring drills, cable analyzers, power loggers, and cable pullers
