JMT is currently ranked #45 on Engineering News-Record’s list of the Top 500 Design Firms. JMT's Construction Management Team is seeking a Construction Engineer for the Fort Pierce, Florida Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for construction engineering using knowledge of general engineering principles and practices to interpret, organize, execute and coordinate assignments. Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification. Essential functions and responsibilities: * Assist with field inspection and oversight of construction activities * Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to complete a task * Perform data analysis and computations to provide alternate field solutions * Assist in managing projects and administering contracts in accordance with client specifications and guidelines * Assist with preparing and reviewing project proposals * Assist in the preparation of engineering documents and Quality Assurance reviews Nonessential functions and responsibilities: * Perform other related duties as assigned

Responsibilities

The Construction Engineer is responsible for field inspection, oversight of construction activities, and the coordination of engineering assignments. They will also manage projects, administer contracts, and prepare engineering documents and project proposals.
