Construction Engineer – Regional (Bairnsdale, East Gippsland, VIC)
Salary: $120,000 per annum + super
Location: Bairnsdale & East Gippsland Region
Are you ready to take the lead on impactful infrastructure projects in one of Victoria’s most scenic regions? We’re seeking a Construction Engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality civil works and a knack for solving problems on the ground.
About the Role
As our Construction Engineer, you’ll oversee the delivery of regional infrastructure projects—from roads and drainage to community facilities. You’ll work closely with contractors, consultants, and local stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to spec.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day construction activities across multiple sites
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Liaise with project managers, contractors, and council representatives
  • Monitor budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Provide technical input and problem-solving during construction phases

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • 3+ years’ experience in construction or infrastructure delivery
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently in a regional setting
  • Familiarity with Australian standards and local government processes
