Overview Milton Rents is a leader in heavy equipment rentals, and we’re looking for skilled mechanics to keep our fleet running strong. If you’re passionate about diagnosing and repairing diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems, this is your opportunity to shine. Pay Rate: $40.85 per hour. Responsibilities What You’ll Do Perform maintenance and repairs on rental and customer equipment. Travel to job sites for on-site service. Train and mentor other technicians. Complete accurate work orders and documentation. Interact with customers to ensure top-notch service. What We’re Looking For Experience with heavy equipment, hydraulics, and diesel engines. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and stay organized. A hunger for knowledge and the ability to apply new skills. Qualifications High School diploma, trade school certificate, or equivalent experience preferred. Experience as a rental equipment technician or a similar role in the repair industry is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude. Valid medical card or ability to pass a DOT physical exam. Valid driver's license. Must have your own tools. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Capability to sit and stand for long periods with frequent bending. Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Benefits: Competitive salary.
