As an Estimator, you will be involved in the following:
- Working in a team environment using our industry software
- Experience with Cubit and Estimate One software is required.
- Identifying which trades and suppliers are required per project.
- Complete all Estimating requirements and must produce accurate documentation within budget timelines.
- Cost management materials and trades throughout the construction process.
- Attending meetings with Clients/Project Managers and Site staff while maintaining great relationships.
- Identify potential risks/ issues at tender time.
- Initial tender compilation analysis.
- Knowledge of building practices and project sequencing.
To be successful in this role, the following skills are needed:
- Qualifications in Building and Construction Management or Quantity Surveying studies, or similar.
- 3 years Minimum Estimating experience
- Proficient in current software of Cubit, Microsoft, Excel and word
- Produce trade cost analysis
- Mathematical minded
- Knowledge of construction types
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Effective time management and attention to detail.
- Practical industry or trade experience is essential.
- Understanding of Construction Documentation plans, specifications and finishes schedules. .
- Experience in tender process and trade procurement.
- Take ownership and be open to feedback.
