JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and budgeting phases of construction projects, ensuring accurate cost estimations and effective resource allocation. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in construction estimating software, and the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and subcontractors.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies.
  • Proficiency in using construction estimating software
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.

  • Conduct thorough market research to determine competitive pricing for materials and labor.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Review and analyze bid proposals from subcontractors and suppliers for accuracy.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and contracts for future reference.
  • Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid packages and presenting estimates to clients.
