Heimar Builders is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator with a background in carpentry to join our growing team. This role involves preparing accurate takeoffs, cost estimates, and proposals for residential and light commercial carpentry projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of experience in estimating (carpentry background preferred)
• Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and scope of work
• Prepare material and labor estimates specific to framing, trim, and other carpentry work
• Collaborate with project managers and field crews
• Communicate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing
• Assist in value engineering and budgeting
