POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator with a strong background in both ground-up construction and remodel estimating. The ideal candidate will have expertise in retail or industrial projects and be highly proficient in estimating software, particularly Sage/Timberline.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of construction estimating experience (ground-up and remodeling)
• Experience with retail or industrial construction projects preferred
• Proficiency with Sage/Timberline or similar estimating software required
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and materials
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for both ground-up and remodel projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor/vendor proposals to ensure scope accuracy
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to clarify project details
• Develop cost estimates, budgets, and schedules to support competitive bids
• Manage subcontractor/vendor relationships and maintain updated pricing databases
• Ensure estimates are prepared within deadlines and company standards
