This is a fully remote role with flexible hours, perfect for someone seeking work-life balance while contributing to meaningful projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a painting construction estimator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and painting methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and digital takeoff tools (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam, OST, or similar).
  • Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate project opportunities against company objectives and decide on bidding.
  • Prioritize projects to bid on according to their relevance and alignment with company strategy.
  • Analyze project documents and requirements to fully understand the scope of work and obligations.
  • Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs of interior finishes (painting, coatings, wall coverings, etc.).
  • Produce detailed cost estimates of projects, including both direct and indirect costs.
  • Review project addenda and amendments to identify any changes to the scope of work.
  • Prepare formal quotation documents, detailing inclusions, exclusions, and important notes.
