Position: Estimator Reports to: Program Executive Location: Port Washington, Wisconsin Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 We take into consideration a number of factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates, such as market location, experience, skills, and education. Superior and our tri-venture, CST, is looking for an Estimator who will be responsible for interpreting drawings, reading specifications, change order pricing, and do takeoff on certain items. This role operates primarily in the field and requires close coordination with project management, field supervision, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all scope changes and impacts are captured, documented, and aligned with project goals. This role is based on a jobsite in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Responsibilities Read and understand contract drawings and project specifications Review RFIs, bulletins, and field directives to identify scope changes Perform quantity takeoffs based on updated drawings and field conditions Develop scopes of work for change orders, including labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor requirements Support change order pricing using labor units, historical data, and field-verified productivity Coordinate with field teams to validate installation methods and production rates Track and document change events from identification through resolution Maintain an up-to-date change order log, including pending, approved, and disputed items Prepare clear and organized cost backup for change order submissions Assist in identifying schedule impacts related to scope changes Support time-and-material (T&M) tracking, including field tickets and installed quantities Collaborate with project management and Tri-Venture partners to ensure alignment Your Character Traits You’re organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detail You’re a team player and collaborate well across field and office teams You have a an analytical mindset and understand how to problem solve You can consistently meet tight deadlines, the willingness to learn new processes, and adapt to changing project conditions You’re able to exercise confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information Your Expertise Required: You have proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in construction, contracting, or a related field Required: You have strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations methods, and industry standards Required: You are proficient in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Trimble, Bluebeam, or similar) Bonus Points: You have earned an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field Our Benefits We offer a range of professional and personal perks that you can enjoy as a member of Superior.
