As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing detailed, accurate, and competitive cost analyses for each project. Working alongside a best-in-class team, you will help ensure that our project estimates are precise and delivered within budget.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 years experience in construction preferably in Cabinets, Interior Trim, Exterior Trim and/or Framing
• Minimum of 2 years experience estimating construction projects is required
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Able to interact effectively, cross-functionally and with various levels within the organization
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skill
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency working with Excel is required and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bilingual (French and English) would be an asset

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and/or coordinate the preparation of full cost estimates on conceptual, design-build or general tender work
• Prepare materials, labor and equipment cost estimations necessary to successfully carry out a construction project according to proposals, plans, estimates and specifications
• Prepare and maintain a list of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors
• Study and analyze proposals received
• Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
• Support other department personnel as required which may include preparing estimates for other disciplines
• Ensure that we have CE or PO for every extra
• Communicate Spec’s and scope of work to appropriate staff
• Ensure all estimates are compliant with company standards, client requirements and industry regulations
