Sure Projects Australia specialises in the application of waterproof membranes, joint sealing and protective coating, associated with development and refurbishment of construction products. According to Specified project requirements, Sure Projects Australia will determine the most appropriate membrane product from a variety of well-known market leading suppliers. Membrane types range from multi-layer bitumen torch on systems, to liquid systems applied with a roller or sprayed systems that can be touch dry in less than 30 seconds. Sure Projects Australia ensures a productive and efficient application rate of up to 1000m² on a daily basis. According to the project scope, with our expertise and deep knowledge of the industry, the most appropriate and correct selection of waterproofing method and type of membrane ensuring a durable and sustainable finished product satisfying the client’s design requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years’ experience in construction estimating
  • Skill Level: 2 Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, applied science, civil engineering or related field (Optional)
  • Able to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates
  • Strong understanding of residential construction processes
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Cubit
  • Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
  • Impeccable problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
  • Prepares and delivers estimates and cost plans for construction projects up to the tender settlement stage.
  • Project meeting between key stakeholders, builder, planners and architects
  • Review and evaluate cost estimates
  • Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects
  • Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products
  • Ensure timely completion of estimates Review other parameters involved in the job projects to identify key risks
  • Understand the scope of work to bid
  • Manage bid pricing from all vendors Review the products offered as alternatives to ensure consistent specs
  • Prepare cost analysis
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
