Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects.

Duties:

• Utilize Builder Trend software to prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine accurate costs
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project scope
• Conduct on-site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information
• Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain competitive pricing
• Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and change orders in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation
• Utilize software for quantity take-offs and estimating

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Construction Estimating
• Proficiency in software for estimating purposes
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
