We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our multi-property development team in Great Vancouver Canada, who shall be self-motivated, independent and teamwork, with strong communication skills, work ethic, and academic/professional background.

Experience:

• Construction Estimating: 3 years (preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Estimate costs of materials, labor and equipment for projects based on contract bids, quotes, schematic drawings and specifications
• Prepare tendering procedures, record, examine and analyze bids from GCs and subcontractors, and recommend tender awards and conduct negotiations
• Recommend cost-saving measures, value engineering, and alternative methods
• Prepare cash flow, cost and expenditure statements, and forecasts for a project
• Liaise, consult and communicate with consultants, GCs and subcontractors, and prepare estimates on change orders
• Prepare and maintain a list of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors
• Update project schedules to reflect changes in project costs, timelines, cash flow and requirements

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ALL ROLES:

• University degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or Estimating, etc.
• 3+ years proven experience in Developers, Consultants, PM/CM firms, or General Contractors, etc.
• Local Arch, Struct, Mechanical, Electrical or Estimator background and experience preferred.
• Coordinate work of Authorities, Consultants, General Contractor and Subtrades through various stages of the project on both office and site bases.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Familiar with On-Screen Takeoff, Auto CAD, and Bluebeam software etc.
• Professional backgrounds in QS consultants and developers preferred;
• Fluency in the second language (Cantonese, Mandarin) preferred.
