Join us as a Construction Foreman/Excavator Operator in Wairarapa We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Foreman/Excavator Operator to lead and oversee maintenance works across a broad range of civil, construction, and infrastructure environments. This exciting dual role blends hands-on expertise in operating heavy machinery with proven leadership in site management, crew coordination, and project delivery. You will play a crucial part in undertaking specialised tasks such as drop outs, infrastructure repairs, coastal works, and erosion control, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency. We’re looking for someone with: Current Class 4 licence – class 5 a bonus WTR endorsements a must Minimum 5 years civil construction experience Experienced in supervising staff, interpreting plans, communicating, and leading teams effectively. Strong practical knowledge of industry principles, materials, methods, and tools used in road construction and maintenance.
