The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent supervisory skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes. Civil construction experience would be considered an asset. This role requires effective communication with team members, subcontractors, and management to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety standards.
  • Oversee the work of subcontractors and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience in construction
  • Must have a valid drivers license, with a clean drivers abstract for the past year
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • A commitment to safety practices on the job site
  • Ability to work locally or in locations around Northern BC

We can accommodate a semi retired person, or someone who would like to work seasonally.
A bonus will be paid, in addition to LOA, when staying in camp.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
