  Position: Part-Time Construction Inspector Location: Hilo, Hawaii Duration: 3 months We're seeking a reliable Construction Inspector to join our Hilo office for oversight on an exciting project.  Responsibilities: * Ensure Contractor's work meets safety and code standards * Research construction data and promptly report any discrepancies * Conduct on-site inspections and issue delivery receipts for project materials * Prepare detailed reports, including staff allocation, materials usage, and project concerns * Collaborate with Project Manager/Engineer/Inspection Supervisor on scope changes or additional services * Interpret construction drawings to ensure compliance with specifications Requirements: * High School Diploma * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience * Familiarity with DOT regulations and certifications preferred * Proficiency in mathematics, written communication, and computer literacy * Valid driver's license and willingness to work outdoors * Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision Experience: * Prior experience in construction scheduling, ordering, and quality control preferred * Demonstrated ability to manage various construction phases across different project types Join our team and contribute to the success of our Hilo project!
