Description
The Construction Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all construction work is performed in accordance with the construction documents, regulatory permit requirements, and the Client's needs in the surrounding Rochester areas needed. Duties: Provide regular communication/interface with the Client Representative. Provide on-site, full-time inspection of the contractor’s work. Prepare daily inspection reports and other field documentation as required for the proper maintenance of the project record. Monitor the contractor’s schedule. Coordinate the services of the Special Inspection and Testing Agency. Compile and document completion of punch lists. Record as-build revisions. Compile and document close out records. Minimum of 3- 5 years of Construction Inspection experience, or a 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture and minimum 1-3 years of Construction Inspection experience. Travel within the Greater Rochester Area (1 Hour +/-). High school diploma or equivalent. Willingness to work in all weather conditions. Valid NYS Driver License with reliable transportation. Excellent written and oral communication skills. OSHA 10-Hour certification preferred. Salary Range: $35 - $45 /hr The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
