Description Position Summary The Construction Inspector supports the delivery of public and private construction projects by performing field inspections, coordinating testing activities, and verifying that construction work complies with contract documents, approved plans & specifications, and applicable codes & standards. The position provides quality control / quality assurance support to the Client and project team through on site presence, documentation review, and reporting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Perform full-time or periodic on-site construction inspection services as assigned · Verify construction activities conform to approved plans & specifications and applicable codes & standards · Observe and document contractor work activities, materials, and workmanship · Coordinate and administer Client directed testing and verification of testing programs · Review quality management documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance · Prepare daily inspection reports, testing summaries, nonconformance documentation, and QA/QC reports · Support implementation of the Construction Quality Management Program and project specific quality plans · Coordinate with Owner, contractor, testing agencies, and third-party inspectors · Verify personnel qualifications, certifications, and required training · Support development and execution of inspection and testing plans · Monitor and verify proper use and control of measuring and testing equipment · Participate in project orientation and quality management training as required · Exercise Stop Work Authority when work does not meet safety or quality requirements, in accordance with project procedures · Maintain organized project records and support audit readiness Requirements Education and/or Experience · 5+ years of experience in construction inspection · Prior experience in quality assurance / quality control required. · Experience working at Denver International Airport (DEN) or other airports preferred · AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred · ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1 preferred We are an equal opportunity employer and believe diversity makes teams better.
