Description
LaBella Associates is looking for a dedicated Construction Inspector to join our team in the Elmira, NY area. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that construction projects meet quality standards and are completed on schedule. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of construction practices. Duties: Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes. Document all findings including field observations and recommendations. Communicate effectively with contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues as they arise. Prepare daily reports and assist in the compilation of punch lists. Monitor quality of materials and workmanship. 7+ years of construction inspection experience, preferably in Water and Wastewater facilities, and underground utility projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. OSHA 10-Hour Safety certification is preferred. Salary Range: $35 - $45 per hour The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
