OVERVIEW

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Construction Laborers. In this role, you will be an essential part of our construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and contributing to the successful completion of various tasks on-site. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment at all times.

Experience:

• Commercial construction: 2 years (preferred)
• General Labour: 1 year (preferred)
• Semi-Skilled: 3 years (preferred)
• Skilled Construction: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Confined Space Certification (preferred)
• Fall Protection (preferred)
• Aerial and Scissor Lift Certificate (preferred)
• Half Mask Respirator Fit Tested (preferred)
• Driving Licence (preferred)

• Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools under the supervision of experienced tradespeople.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled workers to complete tasks efficiently.
• Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas by removing debris and hazardous materials.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on site.
