SUMMARY OF POSITION
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Construction Labourer to support our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be a team player, able to perform physically demanding tasks, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS
· Experience dealing with tools and machinery
· Good organizational skills with the ability to get things done according to timelines
· Good communication skills – Verbal English (requirement) and French (asset)
· Must have the ability to perform physically challenging work
· Must have a valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Valid A-Z License (highly valued)
· Must be able to obtain security clearance
· Be a team player
· Have a willingness to learn
· Punctual with an excellent work ethic
· Be flexible to the demand of specific projects as per instructions from the Operation Manager, Project Manager or Lead Hand/Site Superintendent
· WHIMIS and other safety certifications are a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.20-$30.62 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

· Follow the established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
· Ability to independently perform construction activities including, but not limited to, cutting & patching, minor repairs, hardware installations, concrete patching , sealants & firestopping
· Clean and prepare construction sites for work including, but not limited to; removal of debris and garbage, shoveling, digging, sweeping, carrying blocks and beams, driving, traffic control, equipment maintenance
· Ensure construction equipment is cleaned and in good working order
· Load, unload, and transport materials
· Have experience/be comfortable using hand and power tools including, but not limited to; hammers, drills, skill saws, ect.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
