JOB TITLE: GENERAL LABOURER / HANDYMAN – CONSTRUCTION & LANDSCAPING

We specialize in site preparation, excavation, septic systems, snow removal, demolition, drainage solutions, general contracting, and more.
We are seeking a skilled and dependable General Labourer/Handyman to join our team. If you have hands-on experience in construction environments and are looking for year-round work with a reputable and growing company, we’d love to hear from you.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of driving experience in Canada with a clean Driver’s Abstract
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable transportation to/from work
• Valid First Aid and WHMIS certifications
• Strong understanding of construction safety policies and use of PPE
• Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs+ and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Comfortable standing, lifting, bending, and performing physical labor for 8–10 hours/day
• Basic knowledge of construction and landscaping, including grades, slopes, trenching, etc.
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork
• Air brake endorsement and trailer towing experience are assets

• Assist with construction site preparation and clean-up
• Operate and maintain hand tools and small machinery (e.g., saws, drills, grinders, compactors)
• Transport and secure construction materials and supplies
• Install silt fencing, grade stakes, and safety barriers
• Support pipe installation and site service projects
• Take and set grades (laser level experience is a plus)
• Assist equipment operators and truck drivers on job sites
• Perform tasks such as painting, mowing, basic carpentry, and general handyman work
• Spray off trucks and help maintain the yard/shop
• Load, unload, and pick up construction materials
• Complete daily hazard assessments and follow all safety protocols
• Use phone-based apps for worksite documentation and communication
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
