REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in construction
• Proven expertise in hardscape installation (pavers, natural stone, walls) and softscape practices.
• Proficiency in operating heavy machinery common in landscape contracting.
• Strong ability to read and execute landscape design plans.

Experience:

• Landscape and building contracting: 5 years (Required)

• Read and interpret landscape plans, blueprints, and specifications to direct work accurately.
• Operate a variety of landscape machinery and equipment (e.g., skid-steers, excavators, sod cutters, saws) and train crew members on their safe operation.
• Perform and oversee all aspects of hardscape and softscape installation, including but not limited to: patios, walkways, retaining walls, drainage systems, planting, sodding, and irrigation.
• Manage daily crew assignments, productivity, and timekeeping.
• Conduct morning safety meetings (tailgate talks) and ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspection on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Manage on-site materials, ensuring they are used efficiently and stored properly.
• Serve as the primary on-site liaison with the Project Manager/Supervisor, providing daily updates on progress, challenges, and material needs.
• Interact professionally with clients and property managers when necessary.
• Conduct on-the-spot quality checks to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations.
