THE ROLE:

A leading UK law firm with headquarters in Cardiff is seeking a Construction Lawyer to join its growing team, with a focus on non-contentious work. This is a key hire for the firm, and they’re open to applications from individuals at all levels up to Senior Associate.
The ideal candidate may already be working in construction law, or may come from a strong commercial contracts background and be looking to transition into a more specialised practice area. Either way, full support and structured training will be provided for the right person.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Advising on non-contentious construction matters, including drafting and negotiating standard and bespoke construction contracts (JCT, NEC, etc.)
• Supporting the real estate, commercial and projects teams on development and infrastructure matters
• Acting for a broad range of clients across sectors such as healthcare, education, public sector, energy and more
• Taking an active role in client relationships and business development
