Job Description We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Lead to join our rail infrastructure team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing complex rail construction projects, ensuring their timely and efficient completion while adhering to the highest quality and safety standards. Lead and manage all aspects of rail construction projects from inception to completion • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain construction standards • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery Ensure compliance with local and international rail construction regulations and safety standards • Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement • Collaborate with the design team to review and optimise construction methodologies • Manage contract administration and change orders as required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Minimum 15 years of experience in rail construction projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery In-depth knowledge of rail infrastructure and construction methodologies • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams • Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation • Proficiency in construction management software and tools • Demonstrated ability to assess and mitigate risks in complex construction environments • Thorough understanding of local and international rail construction regulations and standards • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent are highly desirable • Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic would be advantageous • Willingness to work in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and travel to project sites as required Business Line: Transportation Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: Urban Transport and Urban Development Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Site supervision Profession: Site Manager I
