LEAD HAND – COMMERCIAL POOL CONSTRUCTION

We are a trusted partner for municipalities, schools, and private developers, known for our commitment to quality, safety, and innovation.
We are currently seeking a Lead Hand –Construction to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong construction skills who is ready to take on leadership responsibilities, with the opportunity to grow into a Site Supervisor position.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in commercial or institutional construction (pool construction experience is a strong asset).
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in general construction.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Ability to read drawings and follow specifications.
  • Knowledge of carpentry, and/or mechanical systems is an asset.
  • Ability to perform physical labour tasks, lifting etc.
  • Current safety certifications (WHMIS, Working at Heights, etc.) or willingness to obtain.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and work alongside a crew on commercial pool construction and renovation projects.
  • Ensure proper installation of pool systems, finishes, and related construction elements according to project specifications.
  • Support and enforce site safety requirements, toolbox talks, and documentation in line with GC and company protocols.
  • Coordinate daily tasks, track progress, and report on job status.
  • Maintain site organization, cleanliness, and efficient use of tools and materials.
  • Assist in planning work schedules, anticipating material needs, and communicating with project managers.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Willing to travel across Canada for project specific sites.
