Description

Rohadfox Construction Control is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Logistics Specialist lll to support communication and engagement activities for complex infrastructure projects. This role works closely with a project team to assist with public-facing communications, stakeholder coordination, and outreach efforts across key phases of project delivery, including planning, design, preconstruction, and construction. The position focuses on executing established communication plans, supporting community engagement activities, and ensuring timely, accurate information is shared with external stakeholders, partners, and the public. This role is hands-on and collaborative, providing day-to-day communications support. This position is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. The pay range is $59-63.65hr. plus full benefits. Essential Job Duties 1. Wayﬁnding specialists with multiple years of airport experience skilled in creating, implementing, and overseeing temporary wayﬁnding strategies that support pedestrian ﬂow and user experience. 2. Proﬁcient in assessing signage quality, visual appeal, and adherence to standards, with the ability to recommend sign types speciﬁc to each project. 3. Experience managing multiple collaborative wayﬁnding projects with multidisciplinary teams, including staﬀ with technical and non-technical backgrounds. Must coordinate across various disciplines, meeting multiple deadlines under pressure in a dynamic environment. 4. Proﬁcient in reading, interpreting, and analyzing project schedules, Gantt charts, and design plans. Capable of evaluating signage needs based on construction activities, environmental factors, and user expectations to maintain eﬀective wayﬁnding. 5. In-depth understanding of signage materials, fabrication methods, color theory, typography, and font speciﬁcations. Knowledge of signage, temporary wayﬁnding, and mapping industry best practices. 6. Ability to review projects' submittals Phasing Plan and Site Logistics Plans as submitted through the ASR and LIR processes with a keen eye for wayﬁnding impacts. 7. Strong visualization skills. Experience in developing concepts, location plans, and proposed wayﬁnding paths of travel with high visual impact. 8. Proﬁcient in planning, production, and installation of temporary wayﬁnding that translates complex information into easy-to-understand visuals. 9. Hands-on experience with installation procedures, including regular site walks to evaluate signage eﬀectiveness and updates to plans as needed. 10. Skilled in tracking phasing for production, and installation schedules across multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and a holistic approach across projects. 11. High attention to detail in verifying the quality and consistency of signage and wayﬁnding elements, ensuring visual appeal and usability across all materials. 12. Skilled in layout and information design, including the formatting of wayﬁnding plans, maps, newsletters, ﬂyers, stakeholder updates, and presentation materials. Ability to apply visual hierarchy, consistency, readability, and brand/program standards to ensure materials are clear, professional, and audience appropriate. 13. Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical or ﬁeld-based information to both project teams and non-technical stakeholders. 14. Proﬁcient in Adobe Creative Suite and Bluebeam for creating, editing, and reviewing visual materials and layouts. 15. Proﬁcient in Microsoft Oﬃce tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint) for project communication, scheduling, and documentation. 16. The candidate shall pass the federal background check and LAWA Badge is required Requirements Minimum Education * Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum Years Experience * 10 years or more experience, preferably on airport building programs or similar complex building programs. Professional Licenses & Certifications * Optional Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PMP, PE, AICP etc. or the candidate shall pass the federal background check and Badge is required Hardware/Software * Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Bluebeam for creating, editing, and reviewing visual materials and layouts. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint) for project communication, scheduling, and documentation. * Must live within commuting distance of work location in Los Angeles, CA
