THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re seeking a full-time Construction and Maintenance Administrator to join our Adelaide office. The primary purpose of this role is to provide an array of administration support to our Construction team. Reporting to the Regional Building Manager, some key accountabilities include:

  • Follow up on building inspection reports with building surveyors
  • Liaise with clients and the Maintenance team to schedule inspections
  • Organise and compile compliance certificates from relevant suppliers
  • Maintain and update a register of the maintenance and service warranty jobs
  • Communicate with suppliers in regards to warranty items
  • Liaise with suppliers, distributors and Councils to coordinate permits and installations, for example
  • Allocate jobs to various trades on a monthly basis
  • Generate and distribute weekly reports via Excel
  • Coordinate and take minutes at weekly meetings
  • Event coordination
  • Manage the induction process with trades and contractors
  • Meet with clients at the office to finalise the settlement process, when required
  • General administration support such as file maintenance and up keep through internal CRM systems
  • Provide ad hoc administration support to the team as required

WHO YOU ARE

Ideally we are seeking someone who has:

  • Strong administration skills, preferably within residential building and construction or similar
  • High accuracy and attention to detail is paramount
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel
  • Solid computer literacy and previous experience using CRM platforms and software
  • Ability to work autonomously and use initiative in order to plan and prioritise workflow
  • A collaborative and customer-focused work style
  • Time management and organisational skills

Whilst it’s not essential, someone who has experience (personal or professional) with residential construction or an interest in the building and construction industry would be advantageous.
