Responsibilities

As a Construction Management Officer, you’ll be the frontline contact for assessing, issuing, and monitoring Construction Local Law Permits. You’ll carry out inspections, liaise with various departments, and ensure construction activities on Council land meet safety, environmental and community standards. You’ll

  • Efficiently and effectively deliver a construction related Local Law permits service.
  • Have responsibility for permit related inspections and the management of information and financials relevant to permits issued.
  • Provide effective evaluation, delivery and monitoring of statutory permits and enforcement for Municipal Laws – Construction Management.

This role participates in a rotating after-hours service roster, responding to out-of-hours construction issues (with overtime allowances provided).
