Peter Lucas is seeking a Temporary Construction Management Supervisor to provide project support on an active industrial construction site. This is a mid- to senior-level, site-based role supporting construction execution, contractor coordination, and safe project delivery. The number of positions will depend on project schedule loading. Job Duties and Responsibilities Provide on-site construction management and supervision support for active industrial project work. Coordinate and oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans and schedules. Supervise and coordinate multi-disciplinary contractors, ensuring alignment with scope, sequencing, and project priorities. Monitor construction progress, identify issues or risks, and support timely resolution in collaboration with project and engineering teams. Enforce health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, promoting a strong safety culture on site. Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, inspections, and incident investigations as required. Review construction drawings, specifications, work packages, and procedures to ensure accurate field execution. Support contract administration activities, including tracking scope changes, field directives, and contractor performance. Assist with coordination of permits, isolations, and access requirements to support safe work execution. Liaise with project management, engineering, site services, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution. Support commissioning and turnover activities as required during the project lifecycle. Maintain accurate site documentation, daily reports, and records in accordance with project requirements. Perform other construction-related duties as assigned to support safe and successful project delivery. Work Requirements Site-based, shift position supporting project construction activities Varied schedule based on project needs 11-hour workday (06:00 to 18:00 with 1-hour unpaid lunch) Duration: Temporary 6-month assignment Pre-access Drug and Alcohol Testing required Pre-access site orientation and mandatory safety training required Mid to senior-level Construction Management Supervisor experience. Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in construction management or site supervision within industrial, mining, energy, or heavy construction environments. Proven experience overseeing multi-disciplinary contractor teams on active construction sites. Strong working knowledge of construction execution, sequencing, and field supervision practices. Demonstrated experience in contract administration and change management. Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Ability to read, interpret, and review construction and engineering documentation. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder coordination skills.
