QUALIFICATIONS:

• The Senior Architect/Engineer shall hold a Bachelor of Architecture or Engineering from an accredited school of higher education. It is required that the individual have a minimum of 10 years of experience in both design and construction with a focus on medical facilities.
• The CM-SA/E shall be able to quickly understand and master the requirements of the local state and federal jurisdictions and the requirements of each in relation to this Project.
• The CM-SA/E shall possess the knowledge of Construction Contract Documents including Front End and Technical Specifications and Drawings to readily understand and assess the requirements.
• The CM-SA/E must have the skillset and a working knowledge of engineering services, building codes, budgeting and scheduling to lead to the project’s success.
• The CM-SA/E must possess the skillset and competency to supervise and manage personnel of diverse skillsets.
• The CM- SA/Es shall provide project construction management and shall provide decisive direction regarding business, technical and project management involving multi-disciplinary and diverse functional activities.
• The CM- SA/E shall be responsible for the overall management, in terms of technical quality, cost and schedule. They shall maintain daily progress reports and inspection reports and shall lead the inspection and quality assurance team assigned to projects to ensure timely and effective project oversight.Physical Requirements –
  Must be able to carry 20 lbs. for a distance of 50 feet and be able to perform simply grasping, pushing, pulling and fine hand manipulation.
  Must have legal status to work in the US. If not a US citizen or Permanent Resident, GCC will not sponsor or transfer work visas.
